Benedict Vaughan



Born in 1862, the twenty-fifth year of the reign of King Victoria, and died aged forty-eight in the first year of the reign of King George V  He has 21 direct descendants in the family.

Benedict Vaughan and family

Worked as an upholsterer in Kensington. Came from Devon, originally from Wales. Died of throat cancer. Had a very good singing voice.
Photo in the possession of Barry Risbridger, believed to be Benedict Vaughan, his wife (at right) Mary Ruston, and to the left their daughter Edith.
